This domain used to be home to my fine art portfolio, back when I was in art school and wanted to be a fine artist. But I left that life after dropping out of my graduate program and returning home (can't get much more millennial than that). While the graduate program was disappointing it did help me realize the fine art world was not for me. Now I'm left with this domain, my name. Figured I might as well get some use out of it.  

I've decided to use this domain to keep a record of the things I've made/done/am interested in. Which I mean I guess that kind of makes it a portfolio site... Just like before... Shit... Well, it's the same but different. Not stuffy and professional, I mean just look at this homepage. And look at me rambling away. 

Think of it like your friends cluttered basement where you went to binge movies all weekend. I get to post "incomplete," "weak" and "poorly documented" work, along with whatever YouTube video(s) I may be obsessing over. So click around, listen to die ärzte (the doctors) (aka "the best band in the world"), look at some art, learn about me, watch some videos, enjoy.

p.s. : there's an opinion piece from 2600: The Hacker Quarterly that I love (I've been trying to find it to scan and share). The author wrote about the good old days of the internet and how the web used to be full of personal sites. No homogeneous  facebooks, tumblrs, twitters, etc. Just a bunch of passionate folks creating what they wanted to see and/or share with the world.
